You already know something is off. You just can't quite name it.

You've done the work. You've read the books, sat in the therapy room, attended the workshops. You understand yourself — intellectually, at least. And yet.

You still find yourself frozen when you need to speak up. Still waking at 3am with the same weight on your chest. Still watching yourself react in ways you know better than, as if something else has taken the wheel. Still feeling like the real shift — the one that actually holds — is one step further than where you've managed to get.

That gap between knowing and actually changing isn't a flaw in you. It's a flaw in the approach. Because healing that happens only in the mind doesn't reach the body. And the body is where it's stored.

ROOTS Live is where that changes.

The five layers of what's keeping you stuck

Most approaches to healing address one layer at a time. ROOTS works through five — in sequence, each one building the foundation the next one needs.

R — Regulate

Your nervous system is not broken. It's adapted. But that adaptation is running your life.

You might recognise this: you know what to do, but in the moment, you can't access it. Your nervous system — still operating from old threat signals — pulls you out of the window where insight and change are actually possible.

Here's what that looks like in real life:

  • You understand your patterns clearly but can't stop them in the moment
  • Meditation helps temporarily but nothing seems to stick long-term
  • You oscillate between feeling wired and anxious, and flat and numb
  • Your body carries a constant hum of tension you can't switch off

What ROOTS does: Modules 1–9 build the biological foundation of safety — not as a concept, but as a felt state your nervous system learns to return to.

You'll build a toolkit of body-based practices that work directly on your physiology, regardless of your motivation or mental state.

This includes nervous system mapping, daily grounding protocols, vagal toning, fascia release for structural holding patterns, and breath practices that restore diaphragmatic freedom. You're not trying harder. You're working with your biology.

O — Open

You've been managing your emotions, not feeling them. There's a difference — and it's costing you.

Some people feel too much and can't contain it. Others feel very little and wonder if something is wrong. Most people alternate between both. What's rarely taught is that emotions are biological waves — they last approximately 90 seconds when allowed to complete. What makes them linger for years is interruption, suppression, or the absence of language for what's actually happening.

Here's what unprocessed emotion looks like:

  • You feel vaguely heavy or flat without being able to explain why
  • Certain situations trigger reactions that seem out of proportion
  • You notice you're carrying feelings that don't quite belong to the moment you're in
  • You've been told you're "too sensitive" or find yourself shutting down around strong emotion

What ROOTS does: Modules 10–17 restore your capacity to feel — safely, precisely, and completely.

You'll build a somatic vocabulary for sensation (not just "tense" or "tired" but temperature, pressure, texture, movement), map where specific emotions live in your body, learn how to allow emotional waves to complete rather than loop endlessly, and identify the one emotion that's been consistently missing from your life — and why its absence has been quietly organising everything.

O — Overcome

The insight didn't land. Not because you're not trying — because insight attempted from a survival state doesn't hold.

You've probably had moments of clarity about your patterns. Maybe in therapy, maybe during a retreat, maybe in a conversation that cracked something open. And then a week later, you're back where you were. The insight was real. But without a regulated body and completed emotional system to receive it, cognitive change stays on the surface.

Here's what this looks and feels like:

  • You can trace exactly where a belief came from but can't seem to shift it
  • You have a harsh inner critic that therapy has named but not quietened
  • You keep meeting the same version of a story in different relationships
  • You feel like you know who you're meant to be but can't quite inhabit it

What ROOTS does: Modules 18–27 guide you through belief archaeology — tracing limiting beliefs to their somatic origins, not just their cognitive ones.

You'll do parts work (IFS framework) to meet and update the inner critic and other protective parts with compassion rather than conflict.

You'll audit your personal narrative, identify the wound-based story organising your life, write a truer version, and embody it — not just think it.

The unit closes with a witnessing circle, where the group reflects back your emerging identity with accuracy rather than projection.

This is where cognitive change finally holds — because it's been built on a body that's safe.

T — Transform

The patterns that remain aren't yours alone. Some belong to the field — to relationships, to what's been absorbed.

Even after deep personal work, certain patterns persist. You feel the presence of people who are no longer in your life. You carry emotions that don't quite feel like yours. Your boundaries feel effortful — or non-existent — regardless of how clearly you understand why they matter. This is field-level work, and it requires a different approach.

Here's what you might recognise:

  • Relationships feel draining in ways you can't explain
  • You absorb other people's emotional states quickly and struggle to separate
  • Old relationship dynamics return even in new relationships
  • Saying no feels physically difficult, as if your body hasn't received the message your mind has sent

What ROOTS does: Modules 28–36 introduce the electromagnetic field — not as a mystical concept but as a measurable, biological reality shaped by your heart, fascia, and nervous system. You'll learn to sense and read your field, cultivate heart coherence, map the relational imprints still living in your system (parental, partnership, loss, absorbed patterns), and learn the practice of Return — consciously giving back what was absorbed, and reclaiming what was given away.

Boundaries are taught not as policies you enforce, but as natural properties of a coherent, reclaimed field. You stop managing your edges and start living from them.

S — Source

The deepest layer: what was inherited, what was wounded at the origin, and who you actually are beneath all of it.

Some of what you carry began before you. Patterns that don't match your personal history. Emotional intensities that feel older than your own life. A wound that seems to have been there as long as you can remember — not from a single event, but from a conclusion the young version of you drew about the world and your place in it.

Here's what this layer sounds like:

  • You've healed a great deal and something still feels like it's running underneath
  • Certain emotional or behavioural patterns repeat across generations in your family
  • You sense an original wound — of not being enough, not belonging, being too much — that organises almost everything
  • You want to understand not just your story, but the lineage it came from

What ROOTS does: Modules 37–45 take you into ancestral inheritance — the epigenetic science of how trauma and adaptation are transmitted through generations — and into the original wound itself: the conclusion drawn by the young self that has been quietly organising your life ever since.

You'll approach this wound safely, with full resources, and offer it what it most needed and never received.

You'll develop witness consciousness — the capacity to observe the whole system without being consumed by any part of it. And in the final session, you'll return to yourself.

Not a future version. The self that was always there beneath the layers — seen accurately, witnessed by others, and named.

What's included

Everything is inside the one investment. Nothing added later. Nothing held back.

45 self-learning modules — self-paced, working through all five units before and between the live sessions, so you arrive with context and leave with tools you can actually use.

2 days of live online embodiment — where the modules stop being concepts and become something felt in real time, in your body, with others present. Facilitated live, with space for what actually arises.

6 months of monthly group support calls — one call per month. Because the most important integration doesn't happen during the two days — it happens in the weeks after, as what shifted begins to show up in your actual life. You bring what's emerging. We work with it together.

Why the small group matters

ROOTS Live is capped at 12 participants. Not as a marketing decision — as a facilitation one.

Somatic work requires a held container. It requires the facilitator to sense what's moving in the room, track what's unspoken, and attend to what the group field is doing — not just what's being said. That's only possible with a small group. With 12 people, no one disappears. Everyone is felt. And the group itself becomes part of what does the healing — because co-regulation, witnessing, and relational coherence aren't bonuses here. They're the method.

What ROOTS Live is not

It is not a passive experience, a motivational weekend, or a quick fix. You will be asked to show up — to the modules, to the live days, and to the monthly calls — and to let what arises, arise. Some of what surfaces will be surprising. Some will be tender. The container is safe. The work is real. And the change — because it's built layer by layer on a foundation of biological safety — is the kind that holds.
